JVS Switchgears Pvt. Ltd., India, established in 2015, is an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 17025:2017 certified organization specializing in the design, manufacturing, and supply of a comprehensive range of electrical switchgear solutions, covering voltage levels from 415V to 765kV.

The company provides end-to-end solutions across the entire switchgear lifecycle, leveraging advanced engineering practices and state-of-the-art technologies to deliver products that ensure high performance, reliability, and consistent quality.

2015
  • Company founded, laying the foundation for advanced switchgear solutions.
2017
  • Successfully completed type testing of LV panels, demonstrating compliance with industry standards.
2019
  • Established an advanced UHV laboratory with RF shielding up to 600kV, equipped with a resonant test system (40Hz–200Hz) for partial discharge, RIV, capacitance, and dielectric dissipation factor measurements.
2020
  • Commissioned a 700kV, 70kJ impulse laboratory for lightning, switching, and chopping applications, with integrated voltage and current impulse testing capabilities.
2021
  • Established temperature rise (heat run) testing facility for switchgear products up to 4000A.
2023
  • Successfully executed the installation and commissioning of three 33kV substations for the prestigious Mallanna Sagar Project — one of India's largest artificial reservoirs — introducing advanced switchgear solutions and pioneering the first PMA-based VCB installation in Telangana.
2024
  • Awarded ISO/IEC 17025:2015 laboratory accreditation by NABL, Government of India, reinforcing our commitment to quality and precision testing.
  • Entered into a strategic collaboration with ABB India Ltd. for the MV switchgear segment.
  • Established a 3200A high-current energy impulse generator along with operating duty and temporary overvoltage test systems for MOV block testing.
2025
  • Collaborated with Siemens to strengthen capabilities in the LV switchgear segment.
2026
  • Upgraded UHV laboratory with RF shielding up to 800kV, featuring an enhanced resonant test system (40Hz–200Hz) for advanced electrical parameter measurements.
  • Commissioned a state-of-the-art 2400kV, 240kJ impulse laboratory to support high-energy lightning, switching, and chopping applications with integrated testing capabilities.
